The company
Established 2021 at Tahliwal
Rglax Pharma was established in 2021 to deliver coating systems and pharma excipients under its brand Rglax Coat. We manufacture ready-mix tablet coating material, polymers and resins for solid dosage manufacturers across the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, ayurvedic and herbal industries, and we work with leading formulation units across India.
Our works sit in the Industrial Area at Tahliwal, in Una district of Himachal Pradesh, inside the pharmaceutical belt that runs through Baddi and Barotiwala. That puts us within a short drive of a large share of the formulation units we supply, which matters more than it sounds. A shade that needs correcting, or a trial that needs watching, is a same day trip rather than a courier cycle.
The range now covers 10 system families across 22 coded grades, from general purpose aqueous film coats through to enteric systems on four different polymer bases, moisture barriers built for named actives, and adsorbents for drugs that fight the press.

How we work
From an enquiry to a released batch
The steps below are the ones we actually run. Nothing here is fixed before it reaches your plant, because the numbers that matter depend on your core.

Requirement
You send the core composition, the shade reference and the coater you will run it on. Where the exchange needs protecting, we sign a non disclosure agreement first.

Formulation
We match an existing coded grade or formulate against your core. Shade is matched to your reference sample rather than to a shade card.
- 03
Trial quantity
A trial quantity goes out with the application parameters for your pan size, so the first batch is not a guess.
- 04
Scale-up
Parameters are confirmed against your batch size and equipment. Weight build-up and dispersion solids are fixed here, at your plant, on your core.
- 05
Supply
Repeat batches reproduce the finish and the release profile you approved. Documentation is supplied to support your own filings.

Licence held against our works at Plot No. 30, Industrial Area Tahliwal. It covers the manufacture of the coating materials, polymers and resins listed on this site.
WHO-GMP compliance
Our unit is operated as a WHO-GMP compliance unit. Manufacturing, cleaning, documentation and release practices follow the same framework your own audit team will be working from.
