AQ-ZWt10
Aqueous film coat, extra white
Water base extra white film coat for cores that show through a standard white.

Application
Aqueous extra white film coat developed for tablets where the core colour bleeds through a conventional white film. Calcium and Azithromycin cores are the usual cases. It gives higher opacity at the same build-up.
Formulated for
- Calcium
- Azithromycin
How it runs
Run it exactly as AQ-Z Wb, on the same aqueous band. The difference is opacity for a given build-up, so on Calcium and Azithromycin cores you reach full cover earlier and can stop before the film starts to bridge the break line.
Build-up and solids are fixed at trial.

Common questions about AQ-ZWt10
Why use AQ-ZWt10 instead of AQ-Z Wb?
Opacity for a given build-up. On Calcium and Azithromycin cores the core colour bleeds through a conventional white film, and the Wt10 grade reaches full cover earlier.
Does it run differently?
No. It runs on the same aqueous band, 35 to 40 degrees at the bed against a 75 to 80 degree inlet. You simply stop earlier, before the film starts to bridge the break line.
