Corrects disintegration time and dissolution where the core falls short.

Application

Dissolution enhancer blend used as DT and dissolution material. It is added where a core formulation does not meet the specified disintegration time or dissolution profile and reformulating the core is not practical.

How it runs

Added at the blending stage. Run disintegration and dissolution before and after addition on the same core, so you can show the correction came from the blend rather than from batch variation.

Build-up and solids are fixed at trial.

When the core does not meet the specified disintegration time or dissolution profile and reformulating the core is not practical. It is added at the blending stage rather than applied as a coat.

How do we show the correction came from RT314?

Run disintegration and dissolution before and after addition on the same core. That separates the effect of the blend from ordinary batch to batch variation.

Does RT314 replace reformulating the core?

It is used where reformulating is not practical. If the core has a deeper problem than disintegration time, the blend corrects the symptom rather than the cause, and reformulation is still the better answer.

Is RT314 applied through a coater?

No. It goes in at the blending stage, alongside RT-114, HR100 and SR100. None of the four are sprayed, so there are no coating parameters to set for them.
